Privacy Policy: Reply Generator for X

Reply Generator for X ("the extension") is operated by deezzex ("we"). Contact: deezzexx@gmail.com.

The extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.

What the extension does

When you open a post on x.com (or twitter.com) and click the extension icon, it reads that one post from the page, suggests reply drafts, and lets you copy one to your clipboard. It never writes to the page, posts, likes, follows, or sends anything on your behalf.

What the extension reads

Only the single post you have open and clicked on:

• the post text,
• the author's display name and @handle,
• the post URL,
• the URLs of up to four images attached to the post.

What the extension does not read

It does not read your feed, the thread, replies, direct messages, your account details, cookies, or your browsing history. It runs only in the tab you are looking at, only after you click the icon, and only on x.com / twitter.com post pages.

What is sent to our server

Only when you press Generate (or "More options"), the post data above is sent over HTTPS to our server, together with your access token. The server:

1. checks your access token and usage limits,
2. sends the post text, the author's handle and image URLs to Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate reply suggestions, using your saved style settings,
3. returns the suggestions to the extension.

What we do not store

We do not store the post text, the author, the URLs or the generated replies. Our server logs record only technical facts (time, request type, result status, and an internal user number), never post content or your token. Anthropic processes the data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Images are not uploaded by the extension: only their URLs are passed on, and Anthropic fetches them from X's image servers.

What we store about you

• Access account: the name the administrator entered for you when issuing your code, a one-way hash of your access code and session token (we cannot read them back), the date of activation, the end date of your access term, and the date of your last request.
• Usage counters: how many requests you made today and in total, used for rate limits.
• Your style settings (length, tone, style, approach, emoji, hashtags, number of replies).
• Payment records: the date, amount, plan length and (if you came through a referral partner) the partner's name, kept for accounting and for paying referral partners.

On your device, the extension keeps your session token, your name and a cached copy of your settings in the browser's local extension storage. "Sign out" in the extension removes them.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data, use it for advertising, profiling or credit decisions, or use it for anything other than providing the extension's single purpose. We do not collect your IP address in our database. Our hosting provider may keep standard network logs.

Permissions, and why

• activeTab, scripting: read the open post after you click the icon.
• storage: keep your token and settings on your device.
• clipboardWrite: copy the reply you choose.
• Access to our server: send the post to generate replies.

The extension has no access to x.com in the background and loads no remote code.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, and uninstalling the extension removes all local data. To have your account and records deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, write to deezzexx@gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days. Accounting records may need to be retained as required by law.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where required, tell you in the extension or its store listing.
